I have opened up a new topic as the question to me was somewhat hidden in another topic. The question from Andrew: what were the model years of 16mm Elf projectors?

Eiki was the name used world-wide except in the UK when they were branded as Elf. Dates have been hard to find. I have used three set of dates mentioned on their service manuals.

ST/M September 1970
RST/RT/RM March 1974
NST/NT Unknown
SNT/ENT April 1986

I latest I have is a price list dated November 1992 - April 1993 where the prices were : SSL = £1353.80 - £1404.80. SNT= £1351.30 - £1795.00 (Price range depending on spec).

There were various other models such as xenon and pedestal, but I have not included these.

Come to think of it, i had my first 16mm around 20 years ago or more. I bought a few films but only lived in a two two down so i sold everything off except my NT1. Re started a year ago but am only looking to add a few more titles and hopefully a little later in the year maybe get a nice slimline slot loader.
