Received my copy of 'The Red Beret' today. As you can see, some previous owner made a very nice job of decorating the box; I couldn't have chosen better. I hope to have a view on Friday or Saturday, after which I can write a detailed account of the film's history.
This print is on Kodachrome, so the colour will look as good as when it was made; also the edge code suggests it was made in 1953 the year of theatrical release; I say 1953 instead of 1973 as the optical soundtrack is unilateral variable area, which according to Paul Ivester's website, went out of favour in the 1950s. Quite a treasure this film.
