Well, i have a 1698DA bell & howell that have "the ghost effect" due to a misaligned shutter,can someone tell me how to access to it to put it in the rigth way please?

Jose, you might be able to find a copy of the service manual for your projector online for free, that you can download and print. Since we all own so many various makes and models of projectors, and they are all different, finding the service manual would help you troubleshoot many different kinds of problems. I've never done much shutter work myself. But you could type in something like: Bell and Howell 1698DA Projector Manual, and something might come up for you that will be useful. I did that once myself. :-)

I found this online: BELL HOWELL DESIGN 1692 1693 1694 1695 1698 Service Manual. Not sure if that 1698 covers the 1698DA or not. But here it is if it is of any help.
