They do! It was fun to run an old projector. Wait a minute - ALL of my projectors are old ! Should have said fun to run a really old projector!
And of course, there is the top of my little one's head in the far right corner!

I have never seen a Revere, and not even heard about it. It looks really really cool! If I had a big house, it would be full of gems like that :-)

My parents used a Revere camera, when I was a child. Still in my collection in good working condition. Standard 8mm of course, as I was born 1954. I Also have two silent projectors, one 16mm and one 8mm. I really like the design. I have no idea if they ever made any Super 8 equipment

Hi Michael! Do you happen to know when this machine was marketed? It looks to be from the 1940's perhaps. Where in the world do you find spare lamps for it? Does it still have the original electrical cord too? So many questions...
Sorry its taken a few days - it takes a DCW, luckily the guy I bought the two projectors from gave me a case of new bulbs!
Couldn't find a date on the machine, which I thought was strange - but there was a photocopy of the instruction manual inside one of the cases, and it was dated 1948. And yes, it has the original electric cord - not grounded, of course! There is a speaker inside the case, which is pretty cool - and it works, although you have to fiddle with the speaker cord a little bit.

Thank you Michael! The additional pictures are quite nice (as well as informative) to look at. That's great that you have a case of bulbs for it. And rated at 50 hours! All of mine are rated between 15 and 25 hours, so I can never have too many of those! I have three machines from the 50's that still have nice power cords but I'm always very careful not to bend them.
Thanks! I love using the old projectors every once in a while - I have my Grandfather's Bell & Howell from the 1950's - its a film eater, though!

Talking about old projectors. See my post about the projector I took home today in the 35mm section :-)

I just took another look at this thread that Michael started back in September. I sure would like to see some more posts like this, concerning 16mm (projectors AND films). Myself, I will try to start some as well. :-) I had forgotten that Michael owned this model. I so happened to look over a listing for one of these very recently.
