Abbott & Costello meets Frankenstein

#1 by Tyler Hatwell , Sat Jun 17, 2017 3:17 pm

I'm sure everyone has a copy of this so it's no great shakes but I've just been to Umit's in Hackney, London and bought a copy of my own (finally).

Having a mini screening tonight with some friends who're staying over, will take some pictures then. If you've already got pictures, or what to share your favourite bits of the film from your own collections, feel free!

Great stuff. Was it expensive?

I'm one of the few, I'm certain, who does not have this, so I'm anxious to see the screenshots Tyler! :-)

Not much at all. £10. Unsure of quality but I am sure it'll be alright after giving it a quick once over earlier. Looking forward!

No Tim, I don't think you are.

There are many classic films that I don't have a single print of in their entire range.

Abbott & Costello, Our Gang, The Keystone Cops,Charlie Chaplin, any of the Collectors Club range of films etc etc. The list is quite possibly enormous.

We all like the films that we like and the beauty of films on Super 8mm or 16mm in particular, is there are entire ranges for each of the categories to suit everyone's tastes, just as there are with records and CD's in the music world.

I too do not have this one, nor have I ever seen it - I've seen the one with Dr Jekyl and Mr Hyde, and the Wolfman...
