Dont give up the ship. Viacom print

Tonight we viewed my abridged feature of the Jerry Lewis film, Dont give up the ship. This print is in very good condition, a b/w film with a good contrast throughout, sound is very good.
These Viacom prints were odd balls i think, they clearly had a small deal with Paramount whose features were sparse on the 8mm gauge until the Marketing deal in the 70s. A shame it wasn't Derann who did those marketing films, they would have done a much better editing job, all be it, a few were ok.

This film was originally a 5 x 400ft release but we have it on two 800ft spools, reel one almost full, the second reel is very full but not over flowing. For screenshots please see the review here,

Tom,

I am going to have to revisit some of these Jerry Lewis classics, thanks to your compelling reviews. I appreciate learning a bit more about Viacom film releases, as that is a name I thought was focused mostly on TV series syndication.

I never knew that those were edited. The old catalogs don't mention it.
