Thought I'd have a look at the Bauers slide controls today, pretty straight forward to get to and so is the dust and dirt, they were all still operational but not as smooth as they should be, just gave them a blow out and with a small cotton bud removed quite a lot of dust and dirt, cleaned the tops as that looked like hard grease and with a tiny amount of new grease applied in the slot and the top they are moving very smoothly once again. As the back was off I gave it a thorough blow out ,wiped off some grease on the gears and dabbed on some new, Mark
