Over The North Pole

16mm, maybe 600'.

This is an old documentary in Norwegian about the first passenger route flying over the North Pole. The airline was SAS, and we follow a person that is supposed to be a passenger. This person was a pilot flying with Roald Amundsen (arctic explorer that was the first to reach the South Pole) for some expeditions to the arctic. The film is faded, but a nice piece og aviation and Scandinavian history.

Eivind,
Fun to see all of the extra leg room and large seating space provided on this SAS flight!

Not to mention the sleeping arrangements. It can't have been cheap.
