How very sad. He was almost a fixture at Film Fairs. I bought a lot of films from him.

That's a shame, I sold him a few nice features, he always seemed happy to be at the fairs and had a stall at probably everyone across the country, sad indeed, Mark

I've known Tony for well over 30 years, he was ever present at the different film fairs, he and his fellow 16mm collector friend Laurie made a fine double act for many years, further film fairs will not seem the same without Tony running his 16mm films he had for sale, he will be missed, especially for his catchphrase "Have you got any B/W features for sale!".

Barry
I believe it was "Have you got and black and white British features for sale"

Sad loss to not only his family but the reel film community.

Maurice,

It started out with "British" features, but Tony ended up asking for any "B/W" features as he expanded his business when he retired, sadly dealing mainly with 8mm films I never sold him much.

Thank you, Barry
I never knew Tony dealt with 8mm.
It was such a pity that he never had a web site for his sales.
If his 16mm films were only black & white perhaps I was lucky with my IB Technicolor 'scope "West Side Story" which I bought from him at Ealing, was it a Town Hall? (Before the later move to the School).

It's a pity that a lot of these dealers don't set up their own website; you can get a free domain.
