Another horror actor has passed away, just seen this on the amicus facebook forum. She was in the better dracula films with Chris Lee, oh dear not a good start to 2021 ........

Couldn't find any details of a marriage; read that she contacted Covid while in hospital, though, it was not given as cause of death. Wondered why some of the most beautiful UK actresses made their name in horror?

Hammer was keen to cast beauties (Playboy playmates for example) to sell more tickets. It was a gamble acting-wise. Shelley is an example of being more than a pretty face; she could really do some acting!
