So only the other day I've decided for my birthday I'm doing a film party, the hall is booked, the new cinemascope screen is being lined and I'm deciding what films should be shown so things are moving in the right direction, this is something I've wanted to do for some time but with a few spanners in the works then covid it hasn't happened. It's still early days but it's only next month so although I've not given myself much time it should be a good night. I'm showing about 4 hours worth of films with a break in between for food and a chat etc, as I know more I'll update, if anyone is interested in attending then let me know, I will have pictures taken on the night to upload here too, Mark

Mark, that sounds like a great idea! If I was in your country I'd put in an RSVP. The least I can do is send my best birthday wishes for a fun and eventful evening.

Mark, what a great idea, is there a particular film theme or will it be a mix of all sorts?

I'm showing various films, adverts, trailers, 200 and 400 footers plus 600 ft releases.

So the first half will be flat releases using the ST1200 with the HID lamp and the second half will be scope/stereo using two GS1200'S, I'm just going to try and keep it interesting and also showing films that non collectors will wow at and hopefully be amazed what has been released. I may even run some 16mm too, once I'm happy with the selection I'll update, Mark

This is a cool idea--a nice gathering of friends and family with film being a central part of it all as well. I am definitely looking forward to seeing some pics of this event, if you care to share a few here.

Unfortunately I'm having to postpone the film party due to being let down by the hall, we have to be out by 9PM which wasn't mentioned when we booked, starting earlier just isn't an option, absolutely gutted as I've wanted to do this for 3 years, everytime we plan it something comes up to stop it, Mark
