Hello everyone,
I've just joined the Forum - my name is Jimmy. Due to a family bereavement, I am charged now with disposing of my late father's massive collection of film, projectors, screens, splicers, posters, books, manuals and spares etc. What doesn't help is he lived over 220 miles away so I am constantly travelling back and forth.
While checking through all his projectors, I took a fancy to a Bolex Paillard 18-5 8mm but I wasn't happy with the mains cable attachment at the rear, like there wasn't one!
I have made a small plate to cover the hole but would be interested if anyone has a photo of the original cable entry - was it a clamp or grommet? There is not a lot of room there.
I will post lists of stuff available soon. Nearly all projectors are working with spare lamps and are either 8mm standard, super, 9.5mm or 16mm. Life is too short to watch through all the films but I'll list the gauge and titles soon.
