I know a lot of us were kind of expecting this news, sadly Dame Barbara Windsor has died after her long battle with dementia. One of the last of the "Carry On" stars she will always be associated with that fun series of British comedy films, who else could play a teenager in "Carry on Camping" when she was well into her twenties, she had such great comic timing, that she could pull it off. Later in life she proved her dramatic chops with the role of Peggy Mitchell in "Eastenders", a real 'Tour de Force' performance. She will be missed.

Very sad news and in a way, the end of era.

I knew that she had Dementia, and I believe she didn't recognisee her husband. They were classic films. At least they will be around for new generations to watch.
