Dragonwyck

I've had this 16mm print since the beginning of the year and had coordinated with a local theater to have a private showing for my wife's birthday. Although it is tomorrow, we had it shown on Saturday. This is her favorite Vincent Price film and has always wanted to see it on the big screen. The first reel had some splices at the beginning but looks just like some minor repair. Aside from some lines here and there, it looked really good. She broke into tears as Vincent Price and Gene Tierney waltzed across the screen. My two youngest sons (14 and 12) had a good time as well.

Hi Don,

What a brilliant way of celebrating your wife's birthday! And a nice 'old school' cinema makes it all the better.....Really cool!
