To Catch A Thief

Marketing Films, 3x400', color and sound. It has some fade, but when viewed with a blue gel (like I did now) it looks pretty good.

I like Hitchcock's classics, and this is no exception. Interesting also to see Grace Kelly at the French Riviera, not far from or unlike Monaco where she lived the last part of her life. I also like the main character's coming mother in law, the same actress playing Cary Grant's mother in North By Northwest. I wish I had the full feature, but this cut down works quite well.

I took some new screenshots (with blue gel) as I had none saved from previous viewings.

Eivind,

The blue gel really makes it look quite nice....scenery, vintage car and Grace are all very beautiful.
I hope you will be next posting pics of "Rear Window"--another Hitchcock that I really like...

Rear window is my number one favorite of any film. But unfortunately not one I have in any format or length. But maybe one day... :-)

I also have the Marketing 3 X 400. Mine looks about the same as Eivind's. I have a nice trailer of the film on super 8 with perfect color. That is also a very nice print you have Vidar.
