These were my latest little pickups last week.
I did say after being clobbered by the scum tax people in this country that i would not buy from the states again as it was expensive. Unfortunately for me, when i saw these two on Steve Osborne's list i had to ask if they were still available. I didn't expect either if im honest, but they were still there, &, i managed to get it without the intervention of the scum from the tax office. The skanks want to clobber us little people for a poxy little sum spent on a few films yet Amazon get away with millions again i see on the news tonight. (Rant over ).
Anyway, i didn't recall either of these releases before and Graham Sinden kindly informs me on this forum that it was a CHC release. And what a great little reel it is to. Excellent colours and sharp image with very good sound on what appears to be pre-striped stock. The film moves along too quick for decent pictures so these will have to do i'm afraid. This is of course, the music video promo to the 007 movie Goldeneye, with the usual arty images and flashes from the movie between Tina Turner performing the title number.
We dont have any Bond movies, although i would love one i dont think any will flash by me anytime soon. Certainly not at a price i could afford. However, we do have excellent trailers to,
A view to a kill, Casino Royal, (teaser), Golden eye, Licence to kill, (full and teaser), The Living Daylights, (full and teaser with Odeon Daysets), The Man with the Golden Gun. The good thing about these is that they all have A1 colours and are all on low fade stock so no crappy red ones. So what i am thinking is how all of this, starting with this Tina Turner promo would make a very good 007 reel. Or do i leave it as a stand alone? Personally, i wouldn't mind trying to get the Austin Powers and Back to the future music promos to make a good movie musical reel.
BTW, if you would like to see what is on this reel, here it is,
