New lens

Tonight I tried out the lens that Clyde very kindly sent me. I have to say that it was like watching a different film, apart from the extra light, the image also had depth instead of looking two dimensional. I also noticed small things in the film I hadn't seen before. The print I watched was my scope copy of 'Alfred the Great'. Eastman print as can be seen. You can see from the screenshots that this is a very sharp print. this film has a lot of good old British actors, Michael York, Colin Blakely, Peter Vaughan, Alan Dobie, and in her first role , Sinead Cusak and a very early performance from Ian McKellen.
