One for the "Bargain" conscious!

#1 by Andrew Woodcock ( deleted ) , Fri Jan 20, 2017 3:26 pm

Courtesy of another forum member who very kindly and courteously pointed this out to me, here is perhaps, one of those rare opportunities to find a genuine bargain if someone is willing to chance it through the courier systems maybe?

60 euros apparently to ship it here to the UK.

These are now ever seldom seen for less than £1000 minimum!

From the photographs, looks like you even get an original box with styrofoam inserts!

But for an SH 30 on it's way, it would be in the post by now!

I've just emailed the seller and asked him if he'd keep it for a week til I get paid. I'm absolutely potless thanks to moving next weekend.

that looks a bit tasty, anyone used this site before, it says do not pay up front for anything which is a bit scarey.

I know nothing about this website Del. It was merely an advertisement that was passed onto me.

If you could pay by PayPal, any buyer would be safeguarded if the goods failed to arrive.

Yes it appears to be another beaut Gwyn.
Another gem that has only been offered for sale due to bereavement all very sadly.

I do hope it finds its way to someone who will treasure it and use it frequently.
It's such a waste knowing these things stand lying idle for a while after such circumstances.

They should be, and deserve to be used and enjoyed regularly.

I wrote to the seller in English, but he wrote back in French saying he didn't understand, so I've written again using Google Translate. Here's hoping, she'd take pride of place in the Worthing Minema!

Quite agree Andrew lets hope it all works out.
I just wonder what is out there, lying in peoples homes and garages.Last summer I went to this elderley chaps house,he had advertised on Ebay a old projector and his front room was like an Aladins cave. The chap built 9.5 machines to pristine condition amonst other machines all in his front room.He was also in contact with an elderley lady whos husband had collected 16mm and had agarage full of films and projectors.
Unfortuunatley the gent was / is seriously ill and contact could not be continued (even though i left my number).Iknow not what has hapened so maybe someday another large collection will appear.Still there you go

I can call you when you have time in front of you

Let me know

Shame that Del but as you say, if Stuart finishes up with it, it's a great result all around!

Hopefully another now to hit UK soil.
