This 400 edition is not an attempt at reducing the storyline, but simply a collection of some of the musical numbers from the feature.

The quality of the print fine, great colours on low fade stock and very good clear sound with a nice sharp image. This was a Derann release and these days doesn't show itself on second lists or ebay very often, if at all.

I remember the very poor reviews it got as a feature film in the cinema, This version starts off with the number “do the shake” followed by a very short scene which tells us the wanna be group have found a place free of charge to practice, (by now we gather these people are trying to form a band), we are then followed by the well know YMCA number. Next up is a short talking scene before the final number, “Can’t stop the music” performed in a large auditorium with all razzle dazzle for a big finale and at the end we get the Derann logo as the music fades out.
