Tell England

I showed Tell England at Plymouth University on 16 Nov to a small appreciative audience. This was a five reel black and white film about the First World War made in 1931.Apparently the film was made initially as a silent film and sound was added afterwards.During the show occasionally a speech card appeared in amongst the sound, rather interesting.
I would recommend this film if you can get to see it apparently it's not available in the other funny format and the copy I showed was the original from the BFI.

Big thank you to Jean Borg for kindly sending me his very informative review of Tell England which I have tried to reproduce in the attached photos.
I'm sorry the pics are not as good as one would like but I'm not very good at this .
Big thanks to Jean.
