Goldfinger feature

This is one of my favourite Bond films, to me this had it all you would want on screen from 007. This particular print is optical sound and amazingly retains some good colour, the very dark scenes have a hue but I'm more than happy with it.

Mark ,Any Bond film is worth having optical or mag,in any format.Im assuming as it’s optical it’s an ex airline print. Is it complete?

Quite amazing colour there Mark for an optical print, as most I see from that period are faded. It must have been stored well.

Agree, to see colour like this on an optical print is rare in itself.

It's a polyester print so maybe a later reprint as it was a popular title, I'm really not sure but colour wise as you say for this era it's pretty good, it's got the look of the faded 80s prints such as Over The Top to me, no filter was used which I think may improve it but I actually dont like using them, Mark

I tried the gels but like Paul said, these do mess with the light output, a decent quality glass filter may be best but to be honest, I'm done with fade and faded stuff with only a few exceptions.

I agree Tom, fade is fade, a brighter lamp helps more than gels or filters,Mark
