Using NASA footage, Holiday Films sold this title, and several other astronomy and space exploration titles.
This one, about the Apollo 17 moon mission is 200 feet, great color, but no sound. The box cover (now posted on Super 8 database), indicates "New High Quality Vitachrome Process"....

Has anyone heard of "Vitachrome"? This Super 8 film was from 1982 and actually is on Eastman LPP stock. Maybe "Vitachrome" is simply marketing hype?

Vitachrome appears to be a two-colour process.

Great find! I haven't seen this around! I really like space history, and for me it suits Super 8 in a good way as Super 8 came around the same time and both reflects technology of the time.

The images certainly are very good. Holiday films is a new one on me.
