Where Eagles Dare 3x400

This is probably one of my favourite cutdowns, still has lovely colour and it's just such a good film, twist and turns to the story and a great cast what more do you want?

Mark your print of this movie looks very good, ours has a fair amount of fade now along with the lines it had when we bought it as an ex rental print , if we could find a good replacement we would get it, but to find one as good as yours is rare, nice one, and definatly one of the best edited mini features released on 8mm along with the Wild Geese

They are about Tom, I've had one other print that had lovely colour, I really enjoy this film, the editing is perfect as you do get a story flow that makes sense,Mark

MGM were sensible enough to use fades and dissolves to make the edit smooth, they did a great job, same with Mutiny on the Bounty.

I think that is a good point. I have a 16mm cutdown of Wizard of Oz, where it is not a pleasing transition between the short scenes, very abrupt and noticeable. Definitely not the preferred approach, I think.

One of my favorites! Mine has faded quite a bit more, though:

Thats pretty much what ours looks like now but sadly, it also has a couple a lines which were on there when we bought it as an ex rental copy, however, it was only £20 so we have had many years enjoyment before the colours turned. It is without doubt one of the best 3 x 400ft films on super 8 for editing.
