Santa's Workshop

Super 8, 200' color and sound.

I first got this on Super 8 as one of the parts of the 400' compilation Walt Disney's Christmas. I later got a full version that was faded. Now I finally found a great copy! For me watching films at the Christmas time is a highlight, so I am super happy to have found this copy that still have great blue colors! After a busy summer, this was my first viewing in a long time. Great to watch some films again.

Eivind,

This classic is a definite must for any Christmas film show. Good job tracking this one down as it doesn't seem to come up all that often, especially with nice color.

It came from Barry's latest list, so thank you again, Barry!

Well done Eivind, the quality of the dull derann version is outstanding, we also managed to get this one last year, all we need now is The night Before Christmas and we will have all four of the Disney compilation full length versions. We are fortunate enough to have a low fade version of the Disney 400ft Christmas reel so the colours are first class, reviewed on here previously.

A nice looking print there, but I think it is a slightly edited version, as I have this same one. What I remember missing is a blackface scene where a small boy gets doused by chimney soot....

Here is a post I wrote last year about it. Still a fun film but I always prefer the unedited and original versions...

Santa's Toys...

That is expensive, and to be honest, the auper 8 prints of this title are up with best, really vivid colours and a pin sharp image.

I got this on 16mm this past December along with the follow-up. Good looking color and a fun title!
