And the winner so far this year for the stupidest, funniest listing is right here,

Says it has fade, may have damage, untested. He frequently gets fresh stock; you would think he would have the means to test them before pricing. I saw a film listed in Marketplace on Facebook; you would think from the price it was an original feature of 'Saturday Night Fever', and not a 400ft Super 8 extract.

Tom,

I have heard this seller prices these things high as he is away from home and can't process the order, if it were to sell. And of course it won't sell at that price. But if this is the case, then why even list the stupid thing?
I hate to say it but it makes him look like an idiot to potential future customers and all of ebay really.

If the seller is away from home his companion will be able to handle and despatch any sales.

Over the years I have bought many films from Vlad, all at reasonable "Buy It Now" prices. Although his comments are often deprecating, I have always found my films to be very acceptable.

For years he has priced his copy of 9.5mm silent "Metropolis" at £5,000. He told me he didn't really want to sell it, but if anybody would pay £5,000 then they could have it.

But his recent update to £5,000 for many items, not always films, is rather odd.

He has been listing film's for 5000 for quite some time now. With the amount of good feedback he has i guess he has his reasons for these strange prices. Lets be honest, the seller isnt daft, he has been selling films for years but over the past months the prices are insane, especially the Texas chainsaw 400ft which does state its pink and scratched!!!

Hey Vidar, good to see you again.
