The belt arrived today for the Bauer 502, these are great machines and run like a swiss watch, my 610 is out of action with no sound due to a dry joint on the circuit board but this machine is just as good. The belt is now fitted and also a new bulb for the panel illumination, not the same one but the voltage is the same and it fits ,Mark

Its thanks to stuart reed on here that i eventualy purchased a t610 and while i do still prefer the sound quality from our 1200HDs i have been very pleaaed with it. Not being over familiar with the bauer range outside of the 610 what is the 502 and other models like?
Do you also use any of the Sankyos? Im keeping an eye out for a reasonably prices 800.

The Bauer range are all pretty similar Tom, the models such as the 502 and 610 that have the same body are all quiet runners, recommended any of them ,I agree though tthat the ST has better sound quality .

I have a Sankyo 501 and two 800s, again nice machines but not as quiet as a Bauer, one of my 800s is as new in the box and lovely, that is quieter than the other but both are nice machines, also has the 1.0 lens in them, Mark
