David Prowse died today at the age of 85. He is best known for his role as Darth Vader in the original Star Wars Trilogy. rest in peace!

Sad to hear of this today, i think George Lucas treated him quite badly.
I watched a programme some years ago on TV, it was one of a series called, Bring back Star Wars, *they also did bring back the xmas number one among others). It was by presenter Justin Lee Colins. On this programme he interviewed Dave Prowse in a local pub. He explained how Lucas didn't sign him up after the three he was in due to him allegedly discussing a new upcoming Star Wars movie, (Phantom menace), he was more or less sacked. The programme is on youtube, well worth a look, and it was all done light heartedly. RIP Dave Prowse.

The Star Wars trilogy and numerous Hammer Horror - RIP Mr Prowse

There is a great documentary I saw a few years back titled I AM YOUR FATHER which I recommend. My children know him more from the Hammers in addition to Darth Vader. He was a sight to behold.
