Chinon 8000

Picked this one up today originally asking £75, got it for £15 as the owner said it would not go in reverse.Came with lead and instruction book apparently not used for some while.
Given it a good clean and some contact cleaner now goes forward fine, nice loud sound from the amp and low and behold it went into reverse so now more than happy.Only snag was the comment “oh no not another!where you going to keep that”🤪🤪

“With all the other’s “😁😁📽📽

£15 That is a great bargain Gwyn. Was it local?

Tom,saw it on a Facebook page came from Buckfastleigh worth the drive.
Robert, yes it’s in pretty good condition I don’t think it’s had much use but I tried it this morning and it’s misbehaving sometimes it wants to run then the light goes out.So I’m going to give it a thorough going over ,fortunately I have a similar machine well run so I do have parts if need be.
Let’s now say it will be my lockdown work in progress.I know it can’t be much as it ran perfect yesterday.
