Belated Halloween Film Show...

#1 by Greg Perry , Thu Nov 05, 2020 3:37 am

Well, this is a few days later than I had hoped, but here is what I watched for the Halloween Film Show..

Starting things off, "Vincent', the 1982 animation by Tim Burton. Narrated by Vincent Price, this is a must-have for a Halloween film show. My print has edge damage but still watchable..

Next up, "Ashes of Doom". This is a 2 minute anti-smoking PSA from Canada. A vampire meets a female chain smoker, much to his fatal regret...

The 1929 Walt Disney classic, "Skeleton Dance". This print has reversed titles and a greenish hue, but it all works...

'Spooky Hooky' from 1936 with the Little Rascals...

And, saving the best for last, from 1937, "Lonesome Ghosts". This may well be the sharpest cartoon I own, and it is one of my all time favorites..

Now, on to Christmas film shows..only 51 days away....
