Now that does look really good. Is the soundtrack paste or proper stripe?

Wow, that looks amazing, can't believe that it's super 8, it could be 16mm, looking forward to a UK distributor for this

Hi Tom,

Regarding mag stripe: I am not sure myself on the answer to your question. From what I understand, the film was striped by Alberto in Italy, and recorded by Lance A. in California (I believe). From everything I have heard, Alberto does an absolutely great job and the stripe is of high quality. Lance is also well-known for bringing out the best sound possible via his recording. The stripe itself is silky smooth to the touch. Here is a pic:

Thanks for the information. As Alberto has used a proper stripe i know the sound will be first class. Clearly a lot of work and effort has gone into this release. Just got to hope for a European release now in order to eliminate, (or after this year) reduce the amount of import tax. Current prices would mean around £300 or more which for me for a half an hour is not justifiable. The scabs at the tax offices would make sure they get there share.

BTW, stunning screenshots, as Del said, you could be mistake that for 16mm.

The film looks absolutely beautiful! Amazing that someone still produces new releases with sound stripes and everything!
