Growing up, I use to love watching these shows on the TV. This news was very sad to hear.

Thanks Tom, the screen shots are just from the Monkee's opening (or ending?) sequence on low-fade 16mm. Sadly, I don't have a full episode.
The TV shows were just plain fun and with great music, shown here as re-runs during the 1970's and even into the 1980's on MTV.

I have occasionally seen an episode for sale on 16mm, but have yet to land one...they are out there though so the search continues!

I'm often surprised that these never seem to be shown on TV over here anymore. I keep looking out for them on the new channel here which shows early TV programmes and films from the 40s up to the 70s.
I didn't realise Peter Tork had been diagnosed with cancer since 2009. He did well to keep going for 10 years.

This one hit me hard as he was my second favorite after Mike. I don't have any episodes but I do have some 8mm footage in my archive.

It is from 1966. A couple of reels has them performing on a train and others at an outdoor venue. Great stuff <3
