It is. I have little to look forward to, these are the highs I get. Wish I had energy and back for more trips to UK conventions. This years Nordic is in Norway, so September will be good :-)

Indeed it is nice to chat about film. That is the only place where I can talk about film face to face with someone who is interested in films. Otherwise it is forums/facebook, mail or Skype for me. I had such a great time talking to people that it got really late before I noticed the time. Good thing I live close by. I talk about film to my wife or colleagues sometimes too when I have gotten a new film or something. They are polite and smile and nod while I talk with enthusiasm. But even nicer to talk to people that care :-)

I think these little groups are great, I wish we had some over here, i know we have Ealing and Blackpool and a couple of others but as far as i can remember, there was never anything south of London for us.

If you are not alone, give it a try, keeping it simple. I pray the Norwegian group can keep it up for many more years

Most of us collectors are like that Eivind, I'm lucky, my father in law loves his films especially the old ones and does like to talk about them.
