Is a Xenophot lamp the same as Xenon, or are they two different things?

No Expert, but think they are different ... Xenon gas is brighter I think, but seem to remember my ST-1200 lamps were described as Xenophot and not the same

If I remember correctly, Xenophot was brighter than other lamps, but not near Xenon
As said, no expert whatsoever, so someone knowing, please share your knowledge

Not sure if that goes for all...

The Xenophots cost a bit more but worth it,if you shop around you can pick them up at reasonable rates depending how many you buy. I used to buy mine from a place in Oxford Robert but I think they have shut now, they were just off the Iffley road, it was a lighting company but i cant remember the name,Mark
