Was recently watching NatGeo (National Geographic) program on searching for the Lost Ark - when I spotted a que mark after their clip of Raiders - weird!

Cool! Do you think it was put there intentionally to “convey” a certain time period?

No, I think the Raiders footage they used was from a TV print - it was the only time during the episode that I saw a cue mark - was very strange to see though!

There was a time (1970s) in the UK, when all the TV shows had a mark in the top right hand corner, it wasn't cue marks as we know them, but more like an old fashioned barbers pole that spun round. You could always tell when the commercial break was coming up.

many of our 16s have the distinctive circular cue marks. The ones on Jagged edge are very prominent, i dont mind these at all, reminds me of the old cinema days when i use to always pick them up and quickly look around at the projection booth.
