Scotland Yard

Talking Pictures are showing Edgar Lustgarten Scotland Yard weekdays at 6. And on quite a few J.M. Burgoyne-Johnson is the cinematographer.

J.M. Burgoyne-Johnson (1922–1997)
Cinematographer | Camera Department
Trivia: Founder of the Buckingham Film Museum.
Born: 1922 in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Tyne and Wear, England, UK
Died: December, 1997 (age 75)

I seem to recall the name earlier too. I wonder if he had anything to do with P. M. Films? Ralph Gill was one of the owners and I think J.M. Burgoyne-Johnson might have been too.

P. M. Films released a couple of titles from this series

The Dark Stairway
The Candlelight Murder

The titles were reviewed in Movie Maker and didn't get really good ones.

I still love the smell of film in the morning

David, we do have a couple of these, i will try and fish them from my Brother and do a review. They were PM film and fit perfectly onto a 600ft spool, i think they are complete and are both excellent b/w prints.
I know one of the one we have is The Greek ST Murder. I'll have to check the other, (i think we may have sold it). It's been years since i ran these.

Die Hard / Silence of the Lambs. 8 or 16 anyone?

These are great shows, I've seen these on Talking Pictures, but they kept repeating the episodes, so stopped watching. One of my regrets is that I never visited the Buckingham Movie museum. I did visit a movie museum in St.Ives, Cornwall, which no doubt is also long gone.
