I can see your point, David, as I said, not many see the jerky movement in digital. I sure do, even if I try not to watch for it, the brain picks it up and cries in pain. So that you see something I don't doesn't mean it's not there.

Vidar... if you are seeing jerky movements in all Digital Cinema presentations then there is clearly something not
right in the projection setup.
This problem was there in the early stages but should not be there in Cinemas these days.
It however may be faulty or corrupt files in the transfer or the projectors.
I still go to the Cinema on a regular basis and have not experienced this problem in a very very
very long time now.
It is certainly not evident on any 4K projection I have seen.
Even the old Laurel and Hardy restorations looked superb indeed.
