I'm trying to be better about getting active in the film forums. Some might know me from the 8mm forum film tech site where I hang out a lot as well!

On to brass tax as they say - I thought I'd get back in the groove by asking whether The Haunting by Robert Wise ever made it onto Super 8 film? It's a wonderful picture and I'd love to find a copy if it's out there.

Lincoln, it's good to see another name joining in here,
The Haunting is an excellent movie from Robert Wise but unless I'm wrong, I dont think it has appeared on super 8. It's one I'd like to have as well, I did miss a 16mm copy some time ago but it did sell for a lot of money.
As I understand it, this was to be a 600ft edit from Dave films but It didn't materialise, possibly due to lack of support, (I think).

I have a 16 mm scope copy of this movie, never seen on super 8 though, would be nice in scope on 8 mm ............

16 and scope, nice one, and that is the way to see this movie, it loses all impact on TV no matter how big the TV is.
