Anybody have or know of someone willing to sell this digest? Must be with the original box of this type

It has been known that scams are going on with people checking forums for WTBs and offering wanted items for sale.

Why don't you post a pic of yourself with the digest, holding today's newspaper, and a hand written sign in green ink saying, "For Sale at reelmagicfilmforum.com".

Well I don’t get a newspaper so that’s not an option. And I wasn’t going to go track down the film from my collection if the person had already bought one or was no longer interested. But if they are interested I’ll be happy to do so and photograph it for them etc.

You may be legit, and it's not my forum, but if it was, I wouldn't be happy with people joining and immediately trying to sell stuff. But there are scams going on like this so we have to be careful.

That's why I have suggested rules for the BST -- but again it's not my money, blood, sweat, and tears that went into creating this website.

To each his own.

If it's really you, you're either a former NFL wide receiver, or the creator of Cinevent.

Or you could be neither.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Apologies if you're legit.

Depends on your price, must be complete in good condition, both box and film

It is for a friend of mine, but post some pics of box, a few screenshots and your price

Thomas, co-creator of Cinevent’s name was Steven, but good recognition of the family name. :)

Vidar, I’ll track this down when I get a chance in the next few days. I know I’ve seen it in the last few weeks but don’t recall exactly where in all my stuff. If only I were a bit more organized…

Vidar, good news! It was in the first box I checked! (I was reasonably sure it would be but didn’t want to over-commit to a timetable.)

Here are photos of the case and one frame captured using a light table. I don’t own a working projector these days.

I also included a photo of a recent parcel I received with the film on top of it so you can see these are newly taken pictures and not ones I grabbed off eBay or something like that.

The color is faded; I expect that would be typical of this item. Box has some wear, most notably a short crack at the bottom of the spine leading to the flared-out bit at the bottom of the picture.

As far as price, I’d take $85 plus actual shipping costs (which I could calculate once knowing destination). PayPal would likely be easiest but we can discuss other options if need be.

Let me know if you’re interested!

I will show my friend, looked quite faded though. I get back to you when my friend has seen the pictures

That's exactly what someone pretending to be Michael Haynes would say.

I never heard the name before -- I googled it.

Again it's not my website. Vidar created it. It's up to him in terms of rules.
