Kodak committed to manufacturing film.

Somehow I think this is a bit of fib. Kodak was the company that screwed film collectors over by ending pre stripped stock, remember???
Something that never gets talked about is the bollocks reason why they stopped, WE asked Kodak why they were stopping it especially when there was such high demand for it.
The reason we were given from the horses mouth at Kodak in the US was because the process was bad for the environment, as well as the package home movie business had virtually died in the US, only the UK had a good market and they didn't see it as viable any more as their home market had finished. Had Kodak been based here it would have gone on for many more years. I still cant help notice that the film stock is still not stamped on any of the new releases from 2019.
