Brannigan feature

Now here's a rartity Brannigan starring John Wayne, this is one of my favourite Wayne films, typical 70s cop film. Its had a superb stereo rerecord and sounds great too, not sure who released it, definitely one for the big screen, Mark

I think I may have seen parts of this on TV. This was the one filmed in London, correct? By the Tower bridge? I remember when seeing it that I actually stayed at the same hotel once in my only trip to England -- The Tower Hotel I believe it was called. It was a business trip when I worked for Barclays Bank in NYC, so they footed the bill.

Great fun. Richard Attenborough seems to have a good time too. A United Artists film sadly no features were released in the UK. I seem to recall a small selection were made available for hire, but again not in the UK.

Knock Knock.

I still love the smell of film in the morning

Yes Thomas that's the film, I think that's why I like it, the car chase is amusing too.

Knock Knock indeed David, I think it's where Arnie got it from.

Mark.

Nice one Mark, i did bid on a low fade print of this back along but it went for much more than i thought it would, the reviews from critics weren't very positive about this movie but I thought it was very good.

It's funny what you can find out about movies on line, this may or may not interest you about this fiulm but I thought it was quite amusing. Dickie Attenborough's Garrick club membership came in handy for this movies,

"It contains a piece of footage of the inside of the Garrick Club, which traditionally does not allow cameras and was only agreed to as Richard Attenborough was a long-term member. In the scene in which Brannigan and Commander Swann are at the bar in the Garrick Club, on the wall behind them are portraits of Laurence Olivier and John Gielgud, both in Garrick Club ties".
