Home Alone Digest - new print recieved

#1 by Greg Perry , Fri Apr 21, 2023 1:35 am

With all new prints these days they take a fair bit of time to recieve due to the "on order" printing. I ordered this print from Adam Deierling in mid December of 2022, and just recieved it recently. Apparently there were several bad batches of new films from Andec--some of which were this specific title.

I am happy to say the print was well worth the wait! Sound is close to perfect when running through the Sankyo 800. The print is very sharp (pictures from the iphone as usual suck). It is a very fast-paced edit with a lot of the action scenes, but also captures the storyline. As with any digest, not all of our favorite scenes/bits will be included, but if you like the feature, I think you will enjoy this digest as well.

The only hesitation on this one is, of course, the price tag--but that is on Andec, not Adam.

Here are a few pics:

Is this an example of a print made from a digital source?

Thanks

Hi Thomas,

Yes this is digitally sourced. The print itself, when projected, is as sharp as you would expect. These pics are poor due to the older iPhone that was used.

Thomas Peters sais Thank You!

Those images do look pretty good Greg, by what I have seen the editors have done a good job on this one. When the pound strengthens next!!!

Thanks.

It is hard to judge a digital pic of an analog pic made from a digital source, though.
