Last night i read that Derek Simmonds wife Anne has passed away on the 18th october at the age of 83. I believe this was on Jeds facebook page, very much the end of an era where the founders of Derann are concerned, R I P .

That is very sad news news Paul. Thank you for posting this as i didn't know of this news until now.
It's hard to think that Derek has been gone for 21 years. As you said Paul, very much the end of an era.

Very sad indeed, I got to know her quite well through Derek, until Derek was diagnosed with cancer she seemed to be the one in the family with medical problems, so it's amazing how much longer she carried on for, it really is now an end of an era as the ann from Derann has gone.

Sad news Paul. We've been taking flowers each year to Derek at the grave but a bit delayed this year due to health. But we will revisit this Christmas.
