Save the Cinema

It’s been a while since I recommended a film to watch but if you get the chance may I suggest “Save The Cinema”.
It’s unashamedly a feel good film about the saving of the Lyric cinema in Carmarthen ,Wales. The shots of the projection box make it worthwhile and the story is lighthearted and for anyone who worked in a cinema will bring back memories of reel movies.

Gwyn, now you've seen it and recommend it i will look out for it.
While in work, the radio is on in the background, there's no advertising worse than radio ads, they come over patronising and corny and i have heard a radio advert for this film, because of the style of the advert i havnt had any interest but from a professional projectionist, i will now take a look. Thank you.

Tom, it is a bit corny, not exactly one I would normally run out and see but as it was about a cinema I had to give it a go.
Don’t expect bafta performances,I reckon Mrs Photiou might enjoy 😊
