Would anyone know what would cause the ESS circuit on a GS1200 to suddenly fail? Mine was working very well with a signal from a PC but then suddenly died mid-reel. Most peculiar.

Hello Stuart,

- Is your machine working properly in Normal mode (18/24 fps) ?
- Slide switch ESS/Normal/Pulse is poor quality : Wet it with Deoxit Gold and actuate it for few cycles.
- Possible poor contacts in DIN plug(s) below Slide switch too.

ESS mode is not part of Governor board. ESS mode Circuit is included on main board.
