The big sequel, Mission Galactica, The Cylon attack from 1978,
Again, this one was supplied to us on 2 x 400ft reels and joined up on a very full 600ft reel. The previous owner put the full universal globe logo at the start but unfortunately that has turned colour so it will be removed. As for the film itself, this one has excellent colours and very good sound throughout. I assume this one is either on a low fade stock or we have just been plane lucky. The image is also pin sharp, the first film, Battlestar Galactica does have good image but this one wins hands down for being pin sharp. Again, there are no lines and the only splice is between the two parts joined.
This particular cutdown is actually pretty good for the first reel, but in the later half too much of the time is spent of putting the fire out on the engine of the ship, it seems to go on forever, so again, not my cup of tea, but my Brother likes these so give and take on our film shows. Not too bad an edit but again, i just think this 30 minute version is enough for me.
Running low on fuel, the Battlestar Galactica receives the help of the supposedly lost Battlestar Pegasus which is taking the offensive with the Cylons.
