James Bond Trailer Reel.

No not the official 400ft release, this is simply a reel i have put together myself with a few full length and teaser trailers i have had for a while.
I am still on the hunt for some other, not faded or fading though as all of these have one thing in common, they are all good non faded trailers on low fade stocks.
The reel includes ,
Goldeneye, full trailer,
The Man with the Golden Gun, long trailer,
A View to a Kill, full trailer,
Casino Royal, Teaser Trailer, (looking for any of the other FULL trailers to D Graig Bond movies),
License to Kill, full trailer.
As you can see, each of these trailers has excelent image, colour and very good sound. A View to a kill is letter boxed but does have like a frame line at the top and bottom of the black letter box edges, you can see this in the images. I was wondering if this was a white box special or were they all like it, also, if i was being very picky, this trailer is not quite as sharp as the others which are first class.
I was considering splicing the Goldeneye Tina Turner promo at the start of this reel but so far have kept it seperate. Still thinking on this one.

Looking for, Joe Kidd / The Outlaw Josey Wales on 16mm. Good prints only.

Looks good! I would like to find a Man With The Golden Gun trailer.....the one you have looks great. I have a couple Bond trailers, extracts and odd reels that I would like to assemble into longer reels/spools. I have Goldeneye/Living Daylights pre-credit sequences in scope together. I have trailers for Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker and Die Another Day in scope all individual right now and the last 2 reels/spools of the scope feature The Spy Who Loved Me and the Tina Turner video too. I want to make up two James Bond reels/spools in scope and I guess Tina is on her own being flat....(well you know I mean!)

Sounds good Bill, i would love to have one James Bond Feature on either 8 or 16mm, but until i can find one i can afford i guess the little snips will have to do.
I know the spy who loved me is available to order on 8mm but,(im guessing) the price would be over 700 and that's a no no for me. I have missed the 2 x 600ft version of Never say Never again, but having seen it on telly recently, i am not so upset about missing out on it. It's a good one but not one of the best i have seen.
I think i was very lucky with the Man with the golden Gun trailer, these are usually red when they come up so i assume this to be a later print. It is the longest of the trailers too.

The Spy Who Loved me trailer is almost like a cutdown. Action packed. The Never Say Never Again 2x600ft is not too bad. I think it works better than the full feature,

I still love the smell of film in the morning

Now you say that David, you are probably right on that one. It's like the other Derann 2 x 600s. Police Academy 2, Gremlins etc, these all work very well and in some cases, better than the feature. The editing on these mini features was very good.
I would defiantly like copies of other J Bond trailers, again, The spy who loved me has come up a few times but unfortunately they always seem to be faded.

I have a few Bond bit's including Goldfinger (now in fabulous stereo), also The World Of James Bond, Goldeneye & Living Daylights pre credits and quite a few trailers, like most collectors I've come across some shockers, some totally red (it would have to be From Russia With Love). Your's look fabulous Tom, I love Licence To Kill, one of my favourite Bond films

Thanks Del, I thought T Dalton was a very good Bond, i wish he had done more than two.
Another one i have is the Living Daylights but i need to remove it from a feature to put it onto this reel. I bought these from new so it contains the odeon daysets and the teaser trailer as well. The living Daylights also had a tag at the end warning people of dodgy video copies that were circulating at the time.

I liked Timothy Dalton as well; saw 'The Living Daylights' at Weston-Super-Mare, and was given a set of souvenir postcards.
