It was when i tried to clean them, they turned to tar, I was covered in it

Platenclene Roller Cleaner and restorer Mats. As you can see, a couple of the rollers were down to the brass

They didn't cost me anywhere near that much. I got my info from Lee Mannering, he was very happy to help out, he even found the items on ebay for me, top guy, mind you it does work both ways with Lee, I do buy his films at Blackpool
