Nice machine anyhow Martin, photos or not. Next time I'm at the lock up I will have a rummage around to see if I just happen to have a second Eumig 800ft take up spool. From memory, I don't, but you never know I suppose.
In the meantime, I will keep a look out on ebay etc but these particular spools surface rarely by themselves I've found.

I'm not a big fan of those Eumig spools. A couple of times when rewinding film through the gate of my 936, the film has not released itself from the end of reel and has snapped at the gate. I much prefer the black Schneider spools as Edwin shows on his site. They look good on the Bauer too.

They are indeed a fine spool John.
Have you ever known Schneider to put their name to anything that is crap after all?

Well, I picked up a black 800ft Schneider with case at Chorleywood today. Yes, nice spool. There's a small red screw near the mount which when turned clockwise appears to improve the automatic take up function. Not sure what it's doing mechanically but it seemed to work!

Good to hear Martin, I will now abandon my scheduled hunt for one!
