Poltergeist 2x 1200ft Derann Low Res Screenshots

#1 by Andrew Woodcock ( deleted ) , Tue Nov 01, 2016 3:34 pm

Screened Poltergeist last night (well first reel), watched the other 1200ft this morning. Here are some screenshots from the film.

I lowered the resolution on the video capturing camera to 640 x 480 in case this news wasn't forthcoming today.

Here is Part 1 1x 1200ft - Kempski / Derann 6x 400ft low fade release. Started it off with a scope lens and then remembered the first film is flat! Only P2 is in scope from the editions I have. ooops :))

I got this flat version too ... Excellent film that reels more Spielberg than Hooper :-) And JoBeth Williams is lovely, doesn't hurt the film any

I SHOULD have watched my "Dracula" digest that I haven't viewed yet! Our family left the house until the trick-or-treaters cleared out of the neighborhood. Bah! Humbug! :-)

Ha ha ha Timothy. We are the same. After 7.00pm, we just don't answer the door. Otherwise you're inundated with kids knocking on! 😂😂

Didn't run any myself either, only Sundays show in the club. We watched The World According to Garp on 16mm ... A bit slow lately and still grabbing photos from it
