I look forward to it Gwyn, we just love nostalgia here!
Any issues Gwyn, while attempting to upload, just let us all know here and we will try and get this resolved for you.
At the end of the day, we are supposed to be able to post any image here of any size, no matter where it has come from, i pads included.

Indeed it should, I used IPad several times and works fine. There is a limit on size, I do remember getting a message, but it was insanely big, much more than the cameras supply

Yes I knew there had to be some kind of limit, but equally I knew it had to be very very big indeed given that anything I've ever tried uploading here until very recently.

Here we go chaps, this is my easiest way to upload several pics at once each smile step of the way,
1/ simply make a new folder on your desktop and call it anything you want, i call mine Large,(no pun intended here ) either copy or place all the images you want to upload in here,
2/ Make another folder and call it Small, (as in this is where you will paste the reduced size images in one go),
3/ Now open the large folder and simple select ALL the images, now right select "send to" and choose "mail recipient" when you do this another box should open, when it open the drop box and select whichever size you wish, i always use 800 x 600 on here, it seems to work very well. Once you do this your outbox should open, (maybe flashing at you in the bottom task bar), click on it and you will see all your images in your outlook as if you are going to e mail them. Highlight all the images and right click / copy, and open up your new folder named SMALL and paste them in here.
4/ Trash the large file into the bin and you now have all your images ready to upload on here.
5/ If you would like to see a step by step tutorial this is the very one i learned it from, once you have done once or twice you will be able to do it in seconds.

Here you go lads, and here is a few images i did step by step for this thready bit, it was our Ennio Morriconie visit two years ago.
I timed myself uploading these, once images were reduced into my folder it took less than 10 seconds to select them all in one go from the folder and upload them.
Have i told anyone i'm after Die Hard?

Thanks Tom! Cracking explanation there buddy!! 😊😊
I'm still holding out hope Vidar gets his site back working the way it was, but if I have to resize then this certainly speeds things up at the upload stage thanks

apart from re-sizing being much quicker i think it may also help the website as a lot of photo's taking up several mega bites for each image will eventually take its toll somewhere, i think

Not if you pay for unlimited space Tom.
It's a bit like you paying £50 a month for an iPhone contract and then making 3 calls and 5 texts a month ( as a comparison)

Got a reply now :-) All should be okay again

Hi Vidar,
we updated our uploading system so that you will now be able to upload much bigger files consistently.
In your "professional" premium rate the new limit is 12Mb per file.
Unfortunately there was an bug which caused some uploads to fail if you tried to add multiple attachments to a post. The bug was fixed today and you should not be experiencing problems any more.
With kind regards,
Ingmar

Great news Vidar!
I shall put a few on from last nights first reel (1200ft) of Poltergeist then. Nice way to see the Halloween out.
